They have a lunch special mon-fri. $28= french onion soup + a burger, grilled chicken, or vodka pasta. Instead of the soup you can get a main dish and dessert. Solid deal. They also have a few steaks on the menu. Filet is excellent with creamy poivre sauce. Cozy interior. Service is a bit slow. Generally a very good spot for lunch or dinner.

We had a few drinks, the spinach and artichoke dip and the shrimp cocktail. Very very good for everything we ordered! Service was perfect, very kind and quick. Was very quiet and relaxing ambiance. Overall would come back!

My friends and I raided the menu at Smyth Tavern and I will say everything we tasted was delicious. Also not shown yet enjoyed in my photos was the Saint Tropez branzino and the filet mignon. The staff was graceful, politely introduced us to our new server as the staff transitioned for the evening. Our server offered us custom cocktails that were produced well. The ambience is sexy yet demurred. I enjoyed my dinner experience with Smyth Tavern.

Ate breakfast here with guests of the hotel. We were the only ones there. The smoked salmon Benedict with the nice little potato thing was quite nice. Also sampled some other more basic items such as pancakes.

The service was really good, she was super attentive and was sure to bring out my next course when I was ready. She also gave me the most delicious chocolate chip cookie while I was leaving. Okay, to the food. My salad was delicious, I needed greens after the week I had. I decided to erase all healthiness with this burger though. I wanted to be an adult for once & asked for medium well, however, the burger was more pink than I could handle. I know if I wasn't a punk I would have enjoyed it more because it was good. The onion rings were perfect and the fries were a great addition. I know if the burger was cooked all the way through I would have finished everything on my plate. Solid place & great restaurant if you're staying at the Smyth Tribeca and don't want to go out.

Great place for date or girls night! Smyth Tavern is very Tribeca and low-key, located inside the boutique hotel. No cookie skillet like their sister restaurant Lure, which was a bummer. But those garlic bread Parker House rolls absolutely slapped. Yeah, it's downtown and sceney, so prices are what you would expect. Service was A+, water and drink refills all super prompt. I haven't been back since, but good to know a solid place to go if you're in the area.

Made a last-minute reservation on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't packed at all. I really liked the look of the restaurant. Our server was nice. Food was 5 stars. Pasta was great. The branzino was some of the best we've had. Loved the house rolls as well. Only had a couple beers on tap. Pricing of food was to be expected for a more upscale place. Didn't love that the espresso martini was 23 dollars, but what are you gonna do
